Bring me sunshine!

Hi everyone, I hope you are ll having a good weekend!  Those who know me know I HATE the winter so to cheer myself up, I decided recently to make a sunshiney card...

I enjoyed making this card, it brightened up my day!  This is Some Odd Girl Sunny Mae stamped on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I created my own background using the sun rays stamp included in the set.   I matched her up with a touch of paper from the Echo Park Country Drive Collection Kit and a hint of orange at the top using the MFT Die-Namics - Mini Scallop Edge die. I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp challenge for anything goes.

Okay, I am off now but I'll see you tomorrow with the start of the All That Scraps February release previews!

Oh Mary... yes that brightens my day too!! Such a fabbie image and gorgeous colours...

I'm like you... can't stand the winter months... really get a horrible feeling when it goes dusk at 4 pm! Someone told me to buy some of those twigs with tiny lights on and put them on my hearth... they're so nice to look at... and it works... (well a bit...)! At least it's something to look forward to when the curtains are closed!! Anyway, roll on spring and summer! hehe

Hugs
